In this four-hour surf adventure you will experience amazing surf, enchanting locations, adventurous jungle trails(without carring the surf boards), breathtaking nature and exhilarating wildlife. Safety is our primary focus so we take surf to Playa Grande, a beach that it's located thirty minutes hike from Montezuma and is between two protected areas and wildlife refuges. With a long and big sandbar bottom, this is the perfect place to learn your first steps on surfing in a gentle and safe way.

This tour runs in the Montezuma area. Liberia International Airport (LIR) is the usual arrival point for Guanacaste.

Surf runs year-round here, and the seasons mostly change the conditions rather than the swell: the dry months from December to April bring the cleanest, most offshore mornings, while the green season adds warmer water and fewer people on the beach. Mornings are usually the calmest time to learn, before the afternoon wind builds.
