About this tour
Our take
Our longest horseback ride and the only one based in Sámara: two and a half hours of jungle trail and beach, with pickup from your hotel inside Sámara and the operator’s photos and video afterwards. The two Conchal rides are shorter and stay on the coast. This one takes riders of any age and level, which makes it the simpler choice for a mixed family group.
Perfect for all levels and all ages of riders who want to experience sharing a special moment with this beautiful animal. Our well behaved and healthy horses will allow you to discover Samara beauties and enjoy the nature in a peaceful way. On the tour, you may have a chance to see howlers monkeys, iguanas, coatis or several birls. Come with us and experience the Pura Vida!

Is this tour a good fit?
Rated moderate by the operator: expect some walking, climbing or physical activity, usually at your own pace.
At 2.5 hours, it leaves the rest of the day free — easy to pair with a beach afternoon.
Free cancellation on this listing, which matters in the green season when an afternoon can turn wet.
Bring: Specialized infant seats are available.
Getting there
This tour runs in the Sámara area. Liberia International Airport (LIR) is the usual arrival point for Guanacaste.
When to go
Rides go out all year. Trails are firmest from December to April; in the green season (May to November) the ground is softer and the afternoon can turn wet, so a morning ride is the safer booking.
