This tour runs in the Sámara area. Liberia International Airport (LIR) is the usual arrival point for Guanacaste.

Surf runs year-round here, and the seasons mostly change the conditions rather than the swell: the dry months from December to April bring the cleanest, most offshore mornings, while the green season adds warmer water and fewer people on the beach. Mornings are usually the calmest time to learn, before the afternoon wind builds.
