About this tour
Experience a truly unique adventure you will never forget! Over the course of 2 hours, we take you far from the main roads through the stunning Dry Forest, where you may spot and hear the magnificent howler monkeys calling through the trees. You will pass through charming rural villages, catching glimpses of authentic countryside life, cattle, and horses roaming freely. We cross clear streams that refresh the journey, and climb toward breathtaking ocean views from hidden, secluded spots — places so remote and rugged, only our all-terrain vehicles can reach them. Perfect for everyone!

What to bring
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Is this tour a good fit?
Rated moderate by the operator: expect some walking, climbing or physical activity, usually at your own pace.
At 2 hours, it leaves the rest of the day free — easy to pair with a beach afternoon.
Free cancellation on this listing, which matters in the green season when an afternoon can turn wet.
Getting there
This tour runs in the Tamarindo area, about 1 hour 15 to 1 hour 30 minutes from Liberia International Airport (LIR) depending on traffic and your exact hotel.
When to go
Trails are driest and firmest from December to April. From May to November they get muddy and rain tends to arrive in the afternoon, so an early start is the safer bet in the green season.
